July in Brazil is the winter break for schools and universities, and many people take vacations and trips during the month. Now that the winter break is over, students are back in schools and life is back to normal again.
We are speaking in a school this week in Caruara, which is about an hour from where we live in Santos. Caruara is a small poor village that is located in a beautiful area in the forest. We already spoke in 9 classes this morning, and we will speak in night classes for adults tomorrow night, and to students in 5th to 8th grades on Wednesday afternoon.
Here are some pictures from the Caruara area.
