Downtown (Centro) Sao Paulo

Our son Anthony has been visiting us from Atlanta this past month, and we went to centro (downtown) Sao Paulo a couple of times. The following is a slide show of some photos we took there. There is a great view of the city from the Banespa Bank Building, from the 35th floor terrace. The size of the city of Sao Paulo is amazing, and it spreads as far as the eye can see in every direction.

Thanks for the photos, me da muita saudade do Brasil. When I first visited São Paulo in 1979 as student, alone and on a limited budget, I hated it. But over the recent years I have visited it many times, and have gotten to know it better through the eyes of many paulista friends, and now I actually enjoy visiting it and at times even miss it. I envy you living in Brasil, as for the most part I find brasileiros to be wonderful people of great heart.

Um abraço,

Keith, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Although Sao Paulo is not considerd a tourist city, it does have many nice places to see. I agree with you, the Brazilian people are wonderful people and are some of the kindest and warmest people you will ever meet. They are one of Brazil's greatest assets. Um abraco pra voce. - Kevin
